There was trash all over the campsites, the website boasts being dog friendly, but you have to dig to find out it's not in tent sites. The restroom and laundry facilities are decent, the hot and cold water are reversed in one of the showers, the poor lady before didn't know that was possible so she took a shower in cold water. Nothing to write home about, could be really great though.

Due to their arbitrary ban on certain dogs for no other reason than their looks we will be crossing this park off our list for consideration. Perhaps judgement based on the content of their (and their owner's) character would be more appropriate and effective. Get my drift?

We used to spend every day we possibly could at this Resort. They used to have a day pass where are you could go down by the water and swim all day. The lake is super clean and super warm. New owners took over a few years ago and took away the day passes. They are much more strict about dogs. Still totally worth camping here. I would take this place over any state run Campground any day. Just wish they would bring day-use back.

What an awesome place to stay! I would recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a nice peaceful stay. Close to the lake and the whole place is very well taken care of.

The initial look of the campground is nice and there wasn't such a huge thing that turned me off to this place, but instead was just a total of a lot of little things. Showers cost $1, and the men's one didn't work when I put money in. Of the three nights my family stayed one of the men's toilets had poop smeared on the seat 2 of the days. RV residents walk there dogs through tent areas, let them poop and don't pick it up. Fire pits don't have grates across the top for cooking on. Tent area is hard to find even in the day and if an RV person parks there daily vehicle in the path it can be really hard to get in or out. There is more but basically I would rather pay a few dollars more for a KOA that has a pool, playground and a little store.
